Texoma Independent Physicians is a physician owned, physician managed, non-profit corporation with over 200 physician members. Our goals are to offer high quality care, maintain the patient's choice, preserve the patient-physician relationship, and offer a full range of services locally. The primary goal of the organization is to assist and complement the physician member medical practice to allow physicians to better serve the medical needs of their patients.
Through Texoma Independent Physicians, physician members have the opportunity to participate with numerous health insurance networks. We offer credentialing services for full credentialing of members to health plans and/or facilities as requested, allowing physicians and staff to focus on care of their patients. A wide variety of services are offered to assist physicians with performance in health plan quality measurement programs. The organization provides one-on-one office consultations focusing on specific issues to assist physicians in providing care for their patients. Extensive ongoing educational programs are also provided for physicians and their staff including training on customer (patient) service, assisting patients with health insurance claims, HIPAA, OSHA, practice management, compliance, human resources issues, medical terminology, and others.
Texoma Independent Physicians will be a highly respected resource for the physician community of North Texas. The organization will offer an FTC compliant contracting mechanism, which allows physician members to focus on high quality patient care, as well as a full-service credentialing organization to lessen the administrative burden of its members. Texoma Independent Physicians will strive to increase services to its members and respond to the changing needs of the medical community.
